Meet Sarah
Sarah Rae Nelson is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Craniosacral Practitioner, and longtime student and teacher of Ashtanga Yoga. Her work is rooted in slowing down, listening deeply, and helping people find ease and connection within their bodies—especially when the body feels unfamiliar or far away.
Her sessions are not about fixing or forcing. They are about creating a space where the nervous system can exhale, where tension can soften, and where what’s hidden—grief, stress, even joy—can rise to the surface and be met with care.
Sarah’s work is centered on supporting women through every season of life and those who identify within the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. Many of her clients come to the table carrying grief, deep fatigue, identity shifts, or the simple need to be held and witnessed as they move through a tender chapter of life. Others seek relief from chronic pain, tension, or the weight of a nervous system that feels stuck on “high alert.” And some simply long for a space where they can rest, soften, and rediscover peace and ease in their bodies.
Flowstate is a space for anyone drawn to this work. Though Sarah’s focus is on women and LGBTQIA+ communities, men called to slow down, soften, and reconnect are invited to book as well.
Drawing from Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Prenatal and Postpartum Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Craniosacral work, Sarah blends techniques intuitively to meet each client where they are.
When she’s not in the treatment room, you might find Sarah vibing to the Grateful Dead, hanging at her yoga studio or tucked into a good fantasy novel.
